Average Isnt Common
A tipographic poster I did for an exposition some fellas and I organized. Used "Perpetua" tipography (Eric Gill, 1928), based on the concepts of aleatority and contrast. Exposition was called EgoType and consisted of a whole bunch of posters designed by diferent designers using recognized tipographies to express aspects of their personality.

Death Note: Ryuk wordplay
It's finally done! Full view is definitely recommended! Well I had an inspiration from [link] ...Roomie has the most awesomest ideas evaaar. And so I decided to do something similar but mold it into recognizable things. This one is for Ryuk from Death Note...you can recognize his profile, yeah? :3 I think this would count as poetry since it sort of describes Ryuk and his characteristics and such.
We Urbanized
This is the next deviation for my City Life project.
Streets and buildings are designed to give us space to live and space to move. But this also create strong laws, life is adapted to that. People often stopped their life, but not stopped living. It's like an abandoned town: There are still the shapes and you can't still move in every direction since there will be walls to stop you - but is there any life in it? I doubt that.
R is falling apart
just a type form! made this for my design class...
Tsunami Relief Fund
This was an assignment for my tpeography class. The tsunami had just hit the solomon islands days before we began this project so there was a lot of emotional still in the air. We were asked to evoke this emotional typographicly in our piece with as few visual elements as possible. I felt that it was important to include a human element in the piece so that it the connection between the tsunami and the victims would not be lost by the choas os the text. However it was very important that i solved the problem with type and that the image not over power the headline. So instead of mixing the elements and having them compete with eachother, I combined them and created a unique solution. I used a wet piece of paper in the back ground the represent the damage caused by the tsunami and pay with about four different type faces for the headline.

Don't know what to write about it.
I was shocked this morning that one of my favorite photographers, here on deviantART, is gone.
David Le Beck better known as photoscot http://photoscot.deviantart.com/ died on 7/18/2012 ... and I did not catch it!
I had only online contact with him, primary to ask him to use some works, to remix it with typographic styles. Finally he was openmined for all I do with his stuff:
